Unfun fact: The cute fuzzy little creatures we call bees are dying out all over the world. To find out what we can do to save them, Mat chats to bee lover and meliponist (native bee keeper) Sarah Hamilton who explains the impact their decline has on us and how we can help.
Sarah Hamilton
Sarah is a Brisbane-based meliponist (a stingless beekeeper). Bees are integral to our ecosystem, but are sadly losing their natural habitat. Sarah is passionate about reversing the decline of pollinators through conservation. She grows them in hives, and even sells them. Sarah encourages everyone to help conserve the bees by inviting some stingless native bees into your own backyard through bee hotels and growing native plants.
