Are you a collector of plastic stuff? At the rate we are going, by 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish. Mat chats to recycling expert and founder of Banish, Lottie Dalziel about her part in the climate change solution and we get to see"BRAD" the Banish Recycling and Disposal Program, in action.

In 2018 Lottie made a New Year’s resolution to drastically reduce her waste. It wasn’t until she started this resolution that she realised how hard it was not only to find environmentally-friendly products but also find credible information around waste. To date, Lottie has helped over 160,000 people reduce their waste and believes that individuals have the power to create change and together we can all make a difference. She also runs BRAD – the Banish Recycling and Disposal Program. People send in hard-to-recycle items, such as blister packs, and they partner with Australian recyclers to have them recycled onshore. The BRAD initiative recycled 11 tonnes of waste, or 150,000 products, from 11,000 households within its first 20 months.
