This July be part of Australia's largest tree planting and nature care event. Join the community to help plant one million native trees on National Tree Day organised by Planet Ark.
Whilst every day can be Tree Day, this year Schools Tree Day is Friday 26 July and National Tree Day is Sunday 28 July. To JOIN a planting on Tree Day go to the Planet Ark page to and enter your postal code below to see what's happening in your area.
You can HOST your own planting by signing up to Planet Ark and receiving guidance and a toolkit so you can organise your own Tree Day event. And if you want to host a SCHOOL planting for Tree Day visit the Schools page on Planet Ark.
In addition to Tree Day there are lots of other fantastic community events that help boost biodiversity and support our local plants and animals. Check out this list of events at Conservation Volunteers Australia that include replanting wetlands, urban tree forests and koala habitats.
